We had wanted to visit Lombok but our visas were due to expire
and so we needed to get back to the mainland to extend them.
We paid 300,000IR each for a fast boat and bus to take us to Ubud from Gili Air. We had a look around for cheaper prices but many tour operators were charging up to 400,000IR per ticket.

Our boat departed shortly before 11am and stopped off at Gili
Trewangan for 1hr. I have no idea why it took so long as the people that needed
to get on and off did so within 10 minutes.
We reached Padang Bai after 1hr, were transferred to a mini bus
and driven to Ubud where we arrived just after 2pm.
